Roger Wood is WTSN AM 1270's morning news anchor,  You can hear him weekday mornings with Mike Pomp and the WTSN Morning Information Center.
 

A Philadelphia native, Roger has spent his entire career in New England broadcasting.  He's worked as News Director for several New Hampshire stations.  He's won numerous reporting awards from the Associated Press, United Press International and the New Hampshire Association of Broadcasters.  .
 

Roger has also been heavily involved in the community of Portsmouth, where he lives.  He's served on several non-profit Boards, including The Housing Partnership, an organization that rents apartments to lower income residents.  He's served on the Peirce Island Committee, formed to work on improvements to the recreational area.  You'll also see Roger from time to time helping New Hampshire Public Television raise funds.
